Kolpa Resort is a small, family-friendly boutique glamping resort near the Kolpa River, created for guests who appreciate peace, nature and a quality experience away from crowds and large-scale events.
Set on the idyllic grounds of the former Krasinec Castle, Kolpa Resort brings together relaxation and activity – with a natural swimming pool for warm summer days, a bike park for children and bicycle rental for exploring the beautiful landscape of Bela krajina.

MEET US
Mija & Sebastjan
Kolpa Resort didn’t begin with a grand business plan. It grew from our wish to create a place where we would love to spend time ourselves – surrounded by nature, away from the crowds, yet with enough comfort to truly relax.
It all started with the beautiful landscape of Bela krajina and our idea of what this place could one day become. First, we built the natural swimming pool, and that first autumn we planted 48 trees. From there, the resort grew together with us.
Over time, we added glamping accommodation, camping pitches, spaces for children and countless small details that have become part of the story of Kolpa Resort.
There is still a lot we do ourselves. We are always thinking about what we could improve, taking care of the surroundings, looking for new ideas and making sure Kolpa Resort remains small, personal and closely connected to nature.
What we love most is seeing our guests stop looking at the clock after a few days, children finding their own adventures in nature, and adults finally slowing down.
This is exactly the kind of place we wanted to create.

NATURAL SWIMMING POOL – NATURE INSTEAD OF CHEMICALS
A natural swimming pool where summer memories are made. At the heart of Kolpa Resort is our 20-metre natural swimming pool – a place to swim, cool off and enjoy long summer days by the water.
The pool is designed around a natural filtration system. The water is purified by plants and natural biological processes, without chlorine or harsh chemicals. The result is a natural swimming environment surrounded by greenery and closely connected to the landscape around us.
Children enjoy the water, adults swim a few lengths, and in between there is plenty of time for a good book, some shade and long summer afternoons by the pool.

The natural swimming pool operates seasonally and in accordance with high hygiene standards.
Just a few minutes away, the Kolpa River offers even more ways to enjoy the water – from kayaking and SUP to longer trips down the river.
Our vision is simple: to offer authentic glamping and camping in harmony with nature while preserving the environment that makes this place so special.

Kolpa river
Our guests can use our kayaks and SUP boards to spend a summer day on the Kolpa River and discover Bela krajina from a different perspective.
If you would like to take a longer trip down the river, we can also help arrange it with our local partners.
Active HOLIDAYS
For those who like to stay active even on holiday, there is volleyball, slacklining, badminton, football and other outdoor games.
No schedule – simply grab a ball or a racket and start playing.
Cycling true BELA KRAJINA
Bela krajina is wonderful to explore on two wheels. You can rent a bicycle from us, and if you bring your own, a secure bike storage area with basic tools for minor repairs is available.
From the resort, you can follow nearby cycling routes through vineyards and traditional villages or head towards the Kolpa River.
Our little garden
In our garden, children can discover how plants grow, help with watering and sometimes even pick something themselves.
A little connection with the earth can quickly become a big adventure
Pumptrack
Our pumptrack is a place for first turns, a little courage and lots of fun. Children can practise their balance and cycling skills while parents enjoy some time to themselves.
Glamping Bar
Morning coffee, breakfast, a cold drink during the day or a glass of local wine in the evening.
Our little bar is a relaxed place to spend time together and enjoy those moments when there is simply nowhere you need to be.
IN HARMONY WITH NATURE
Nature is not just the backdrop to Kolpa Resort – it is part of its story. From the very beginning, we have looked for ways to create comfortable holidays with a smaller impact on the environment.
Our natural swimming pool operates without chlorine, we preserve and add greenery throughout the resort, encourage our guests to explore the surrounding area by bicycle, and connect them with local producers, wines, cuisine and experiences of Bela krajina.
Our commitment to sustainable tourism is also recognised by the Green Key and Slovenia Green certifications, which we are especially proud of.
